The Pummelo is a treat for grapefruit fans who like a touch of sweetness in their tart fruits. Similar to the grapefruit, but sweeter, firmer, and less juicy, Pummelos have been a favorite fruit in Asia for thousands of years.

Uses:
Pummelos can be sliced in half and eaten like a grapefruit, or peeled and divided into segments and enjoyed in salads. They contain 130% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant.

Selection & Storage:
Pummelos appear larger than most grapefruit, but that’s partly due to their thick but easy to peel rind. Look for solid, firm fruits with no wrinkled or soft areas on the skin. Store in your refrigerator for up to three weeks, or at room temperature for a week.
